Updates On Life :)

Ok I'm sorry because I know I haven't updated my blog in 4ever!!!! So, just a couple of the things that have been going on around here: The boys have constantly been playing football like crazy-as always- and a few weeks ago, Marissa one day decided to play along with them. She ended up injuring her finger pretty bad.... it swelled up and turned totally purple and stayed that way for about a week.

And the cat is bonding with us and the other animals well. They're all enjoying her and Rhian and the new kitty are becoming best friends. Maddie learned to "go" in the litter box, so the house has calmed down a little. And yes, our Emma is still hangin in there :).

The kids aren't in any sports right now.... Nick just finished with soccer and Marissa is still planning on doing Track & Field in March

We've added a new edition to our family!! That makes 2 dogs, a gerbil, and a cat and it's getting really hectic. Yesterday I got to come home to poop on the carpet from one dog, the other dog trying to eat the gerbil, and the kitty doin business on my bed!! The kids are enjoying it though. And they have come up with the names Maddie and Lilo. My vote goes to Maddie, she looks just like a Maddie!! I'm sure you've all read on Marissa's blog the entire story. I've got to go make breakfast.... :) We weren't able to get really good shots of her tho, but here's some pics....

Heidi's Birthday Celebration

Heidi's 43rd birthday at Rudy's. It was way fun and they are all so nice and love Heidi. Then it was off to Sheryl's house to finish off the nice evening....

Marissa turns 13....FINALLY!!

Friday night was the girls over for pizza, salad and pop and then on to the craft, "decorating school colors flip flops" then opening presents ... she got sweet handmade cards and pretty ones too and furry slippers she loved and Mikayla made her a photo album from their early days together. Super sweet! Then it was off to the Corn Maze and Field of Screams. Well it was pretty nice when we got there but the rain started to come and it rained and rained - but the girls still played. Only Bethany, Brittney, & Kristine had the guts to go through the Field of Scre ams but then they all went through the Corn Maze until they were soaked and muddy. Lots of fun! And TOTALLY a birthday to remember!! :)

Nick's Trica program

This was a two week program for 2nd grade that contained poetry and song and dance from the book written by Shel Silverstien, Where the Sidewalk Ends. Nicolas had lots of fun and he's a pretty good dancer too! :o)
